The team
Flatten is founded by Jakob Damen, Robert van Dijk and Léon Collenteur. We come from backgrounds in data, energy and software, and we believe the energy transition only succeeds when energy data becomes accessible and useful for everyone — consumers, installers and businesses alike.
We collect and order energy data, and apply optimizations and simulations on top of it. Rather than building one all-encompassing platform, we ship focused tools that each answer one concrete question — from "fixed or dynamic contract?" to a sustainability report for small businesses. Every tool runs on the user's actual energy consumption.
